Join us in this fun group setting to begin your mounted archery experience. No experience needed. We supply all the horse archery equipment and trained archery horses. We will talk about the history or mounted archery as well as the modern day sport. You will be matched up with equipment and go over some safety. Then it’s time to learn the loading techniques that are key for success. You will learn the three basic shots we use and practice them. After you are hitting the target on the ground it’s time for the mounted portion. You will be matched up with a trained archery horse and off you go shooting targets from atop your war horse. Most rounds will be at the walk with an optional trot round at the end if you wish to see how much faster you have to load and how much faster the targets come up. (Prerequisite for Member practices) (3 Hours)
